Park Pals Program Schedule

Our Park Pals program is bringing free activities to 5 parks around great falls every day of the week! We hope this program encourages kids to get away from the screens and get outside and play. Kids can participate in activities for science, art, and physical exercise.   Park Pals Schedule: Gibson Park, 400 Park Drive — 9:45-10:30 a.m. (free food follows) Verde Park, 1700 Upper River Road — 10:45-11:30 a.m. Rhodes Park, 800 Central Avenue West — 12:15-1 p.m. (free food at noon) Lion’s Park, 2700 9th Avenue South. — 1:15– 2p.m. (free lunch at 12:40) Pinski Park, 4600 5th Avenue South  — 2:15-3 p.m. Prizes are also handed out. Many people who grew up in Great Falls will remember the “park ladies” or “park grandmas.” The City Park & Recreation Department ended the program more than a decade ago because of budget cuts. Get Fit hopes to give a new generation of children those same fond memories.
