What motivates you to be healthy? With improved nutrition and advances in medicine, we baby boomers may be living to an advanced age. It’s important to be strong as well as old. I want to be able to play with my 3 grandchildren.
What is one of your favorite healthy activities and/or recipes? Currently, pickleball is my favorite activity. It’s a blast to play and I enjoy the social aspect of the game. My pickle ball buddies are fun!
What advice would you give someone trying to be healthier? Once you set out to move more, your nutrition improves as well. There’s no sense in exercising and then filling your plate with sugar and empty calorie foods. Give yourself the gift of improved mental and physical health for a few weeks and you’ll never want to go back!
